How our verification works
As a gambling operator, we verify the personal details you provide. The procedure is automated and usually takes from a few minutes to an hour; periodic and random checks follow, in the interest of your security. The terms frame this work: clause 3.9 allows us to carry out all identity, credit, fraud and other checks the regulations require, and to suspend or restrict the account until those checks are complete.
The few-minutes-to-an-hour timing describes the automated case. When a human review is needed, a withdrawal can take up to 24 hours on our side; a complete file from registration avoids most of these reviews.
Why an online casino verifies its players
Identity verification, often shortened to KYC for Know Your Customer, and anti-money laundering, AML, are two separate but linked obligations. The first ensures the account holder is who they say they are, that they are of age and that they have only one account. The second ensures that deposited money has a lawful origin and that the casino isn't being used to move funds around. These principles are shared across the gambling industry.
For you, this has one simple consequence: a casino account isn't anonymous, even when you deposit in Bitcoin. The details entered at registration, the documents provided and the transaction history form a file that can be re-examined at any time. Clause 3.10 of the terms states that the information provided may be passed to service providers to complete a verification process, with the consent given on accepting the terms.
The details the casino matches
Clause 3.1 (b) lists the details required at registration: full name, date of birth, current home address, email address and personal phone number. The player undertakes to keep them accurate and to report any change; clause 3.7 warns that failing to update them may limit the processing of deposits and withdrawals "in a timely manner, or at all". These are the fields verification compares against the documents.
Three categories of document cover the fields above: an official ID for name and date of birth, a recent proof of address, and proof that you own the payment method used. Support tells you exactly which documents are expected for your file.
| Detail to verify | Usual document | Basis in the terms |
|---|---|---|
| Full name, date of birth | valid official ID | field required at registration (T&C 3.1 b) |
| Home address | recent proof of address | required field (T&C 3.1 b) |
| Ownership of the payment method | photo of the masked card, statement, wallet in the holder's name | card "verified as belonging to you" (T&C 6.1 b); third-party payment prohibited (T&C 6.8) |
| Source of funds | statements, payslips, certificate | check possible "under anti-money laundering regulations" (T&C 6.11) |
| Politically exposed person status | self-declaration | registration barred for PEPs and their close associates (T&C 3.3) |

When verification blocks a withdrawal
Clause 6.17 of the terms makes every withdrawal subject to four conditions: all deposits have been confirmed and none is a "failed deposit"; the identity checks required by anti-money laundering regulations are complete to the casino's satisfaction; the player accepts that transactions are checked to prevent money laundering; and no investigation is under way into a game malfunction or a breach of the terms. As long as one of these conditions is missing, the casino may, under clauses 6.17 and 6.18, delay, refuse or cancel the withdrawal.
Several things can delay a withdrawal: the "Beneficiary" field doesn't show the holder's first and last name; the withdrawal is requested to an account in another person's name; an excessive number of payment methods has been added to the account; or the bank imposes its own limits. A withdrawal to a third party is treated as a risk signal and isn't executed.
The source of funds check
Clause 6.11 provides that the casino may, under anti-money laundering regulations and its internal policies, verify the origin of deposited funds, and suspend or close the account if it cannot be satisfied. Clause 6.17 (c) adds that the casino may refuse a withdrawal request, or cancel the withdrawal of unwagered deposits, until the source of funds has been established satisfactorily. This check, known as Source of Funds, generally concerns large amounts or unusual patterns.
Depositing with a third party's card, including a spouse, a parent or a business account, is prohibited by clause 6.8: the deposits concerned are "deemed invalid" and the resulting winnings "void and subject to confiscation". It's a rule players often overlook, and its consequences under the text are heavy: deposit invalid and winnings cancelled.
What happens to an unverified account
An unverified account stays limited. Under clause 6.17 (b), no withdrawal is paid until the identity checks are complete, and clause 3.9 allows us to suspend or restrict the account while checks are pending. Verification itself is automated and usually done within the hour, so the quickest fix is simply to finish it. You can complete it at any time; once you are verified, the usual cashier rules apply, from the €25 minimum withdrawal to the €4,000 daily cap.
Put differently: an ignored verification request doesn't make the problem go away, it simply keeps your balance out of reach. Watch out for this if you deposit and then stop playing without withdrawing. The useful actions are simple: contact support at the first document request, find the still-empty fields in the account Settings section, and keep the support email if it arrives.
How to prepare your file before the first deposit
- At registration, enter exactly the first and last name on your ID, the address on your proof of address and a personal phone number.
- Use a payment method in your name; never a relative's card or wallet.
- Gather before your first withdrawal: a legible ID, both sides, a recent proof of address, a photo of the payment method with the middle digits masked.
- Send documents only through the channel support indicates or by email to support@instantcasino.com, never via a link received from a third party.
- Keep the sending date and the acknowledgement; in the event of a complaint, we work towards a resolution within 90 days (clause 19.1).
- Check that the "Beneficiary" field of the withdrawal request shows your first and last name.
A file submitted before the first withdrawal saves you from discovering a block just when you're expecting the money.
Your options if blocked
Your first point of contact is customer service, by chat or email, with all the details of the complaint (T&C 19.1); we seek a resolution within 90 days and reply to the account email address. If the reply isn't satisfactory, clause 19.2 lets you ask for escalation to the compliance department, which looks at the whole file again.

18+ only. Gambling can be addictive: play responsibly and seek help from a support service if you need it.
Good to know
How quickly is my Instant Casino account verified?
From a few minutes to an hour when automated. A withdrawal requiring manual review can take up to 24 hours on our side.
Which documents do I need to send?
The fields checked are those from registration: name, date of birth, address, email, phone. An ID, a proof of address and proof of the payment method cover these fields; support tells you which documents are expected.
Can I withdraw to a relative's account?
No. A withdrawal to an account in another person's name isn't executed, and clause 6.8 prohibits depositing with a payment method belonging to a third party, including a family member.
What happens if I never send my documents?
Your withdrawals stay on hold: every payout requires completed identity checks (T&C 6.17 b), and the account may be restricted until they are done (T&C 3.9).
